Welcome to The University of Alabama Marshall County Alumni Chapter’s website.  Our Chapter serves alumni and friends located in the cities of Albertville, Boaz, Arab and the surrounding areas.  We provide our members great events and numerous ways to support our University at the local level. The Chapter’s Executive Committee is dedicated to making your membership both fun and rewarding!   

  Join Us! We Welcome New Members!

The Marshall County Chapter of the University of Alabama alumni will meet at noon at the Catfish Cabin in Albertville on Thursday, April 22nd.  The purpose of the meeting will be to elect officers for the next year and to hear an update on future chapter events. Sign up forms and next year’s dues will be discussed for the may 2010-april 2011 year.  The cost of the meal will be $10.00.  All current members attending will be eligible to vote, however the meeting is open to all Alabama fans. If you would like to serve as an officer or want some input on the future officers of the chapter, please contact mayor tim walker of boaz, as he is the chairperson of the nominating committee!

 

Join Us! Membership in the Marshall County Chapter of the Alabama Alumni Association is open to all alumni, fans, and friends of the University. Several events take place throughout the year which include:   

 

  

 

 

  •  Viewing parties for Alabama sporting events

  • Exciting guest speakers at chapter events.

  • High School Recruitment Events

    •   

    We appreciate all members that helped with our fundraising efforts to send students from local high schools to the University of Alabama to tour the campus. Forty-two students from Albertville High School and thirty-two students from Boaz High Schools attended the tour. Special thanks to the Foundations from both school systems with their help with transportation costs.
