Junior Honors Event February 25th, 2010

The University of Alabama Alumni Association will honor outstanding Juniors from our local high schools. This event will take place at First Baptist Church of Albertville. Hoops and Hearts Saturday February 13th, 2010

Announcing a day of Hoops and Hearts for you and your mate! The Marshall County Chapter of the University of Alabama Alumni Association is now signing up members to travel to Tuscaloosa on Saturday, February 13, 2010 to watch the men’s basketball team take on Arkansas.  The cost is $45.00 per person and includes a box lunch and drinks on a chartered bus and your ticket to the game.  The bus will leave at 11:30 a.m., and will return to Marshall County after a stop in Bessemer for Dinner.  The Chapter has reserved a room at the Bright Star Restaurant where we will celebrate Valentine’s Day and the Tide’s win over the Razorbacks!  Tickets and space are limited to the first 46 members who pay.  To reserve your good time and to roll with the Tide, please get your payment to John Gullahorn.  If you are not a member and want to join or know more about the Chapter, go to www.MarshallCountyBamaAlumni.com or contact the Chapter President, John Gullahorn @ 878-1891.

 Scholarship Fundraiser will be set for August 25th, 2009

Back to Bama Football Bash

•  Please join us for our annual scholarship fundraiser on Tuesday August 25th, 2009  6:00 pm at the Snead State Community College’s Cafeteria with our special guests former Tide Quarterback Tyler Watts and Sports Announcer Chris Stewart. Your $20 ticket includes a buffet dinner of chicken fingers and roast beef, vegetables,  dessert, tea or coffee. Make your picture with our other special guests Big Al and Alabama Cheerleaders. Please help us by supporting scholarships for our local students to the University of Alabama from our area high schools.  Tickets are available at both Boaz and Albertville City Halls, CK Business Solutions. and from any officer.

 

University of Alabama Football Viewing Party 

• The Marshall County Chapter of the University of Alabama Alumni Association will be hosting a game watching party for the Alabama vs Kentucky game on Saturday October 3^rd.  The Chapter has made plans with the owners of Sebastiens on Highway 75N in Albertville for our members. The game will be televised starting at 11:30 a.m., but Sebastiens will have their waiters ready by 11:00am and serve until the game is over. There is no cost for members to attend, however if you are not a member, you  may join anytime before the event or at the event. Come join us and watch the Tide roll over the Wildcats.
